Designer 2-piece wedding dress made in London, England, by Caroline Parkes Couture. This dress was bought from Harrods department store in London. Candlelight color. Hand-embroidered bustier made of duchess satin with lattice close on back. Long, flowing chiffon skirt. Short, see-thru jacket edged in duchess satin. Cathedral-length veil with duchess satin edging.
I wore this at my wedding and it is equally beautiful with the jacket on or off. I wore it with the jacket at the ceremony and without the jacket at the reception.
This is an elegant and comfortable dress, made of the finest fabrics. Caroline Parkes trades from the Hardy Amies couture house and this dress was from her London studio. The dress is easily altered as the bustier can be extended and the skirt can be shortened.
