I purchased this dress in July 2017 from Ellie's Bridal in Alexandria, VA and wore it to my May 2018 wedding. I had three requirements when I was dress shopping: 1.) I had to be able to dance, 2.) I had to be able to go to the bathroom by myself, and 3.) I had to feel comfortable. This dress delivered on all three of these and I loved it from the moment I saw it on at the bridal shop. The neckline and the back of the dress are gorgeous and I received compliments on it throughout my wedding day. The dress also photographs beautifully in different types of lighting. The skirt of the dress is also quite lightweight and I didn't ever feel like I was getting too hot underneath the layers.
I'm 5'5" and wore 1inch heels on my wedding day and the dress was still a little bit long, so it's a perfect length for anybody who either wants to wear taller heels, otherwise it will probably need to be hemmed a little bit. I also had the dress taken in a little bit along the seams and had several bustle points added. Bra cups can also be added to the dress if desired, although I didn't miss having them.
The dress was cleaned immediately after the wedding and has been professional preserved and boxed. This includes a piece of plastic that helps the dress hold the shape of the bust. However, there are some small rips in the toole on the skirt near the bustle points (they had been held in place with a safety pin prior to my wedding day) that aren't noticable unless you know what you're looking for.
